# Reusable agent prompts

Example prompts for creating, editing, and publishing sites with your agent.

## Describe the task and save its progress

Replace bracketed placeholders with your own details. Tell the agent which connected server is Waveform. These prompts authorize only the work you request; they do not bypass credential scopes, plan/balance constraints or publication checks. The server’s current tools/list is authoritative.

## Create a page

```text
Use Waveform. First read identity_get and confirm the workspace matches [workspace]. Create a page for [business, audience, goal and verified facts] with generation_create. Persist one idempotency key for this intent. Follow generation_watch or generation_get; do not create duplicates after timeouts. Show the available designs using design_image_read and report their actual audience/quality findings. Show the saved source or preview when available. Stop after the bounded work completes or needs review; do not repeatedly regenerate to force a pass. Do not publish yet.
```

## Edit a chosen design, then build when asked

```text
Use Waveform generation_get for [generation]. Inspect the candidate I chose with design_image_read and its exact image hash. Use design_edit to make [specific visual/text changes] to that candidate. Watch the returned design revision and show the result. Preserve supplied facts. Keep the other designs saved. Wait for my request before building the page.
```

```text
Build the edited Design I just chose. Read its latest generation and candidate review, then call design_select with that candidate ID and one new saved intent key. Follow the returned generation, inspect quality_get and give me its source/download when available. Keep the current publication unchanged.
```

## Build or change the full site

```text
Use Waveform for [homepage generation]. If the homepage already links an active siteTask, follow that instead of starting another. Otherwise use site_task_start to [build the rest of the site / describe the requested changes]. Use the current siteId when one exists. Follow site_task_watch and each affected generation. Report any needs_attention or needs_review findings precisely. Do not invent missing business facts or publish automatically.
```

## Add an authored post

```text
Use Waveform for [site]. Read site_get and site_posts first. Save the exact supplied article [title, slug, description, author/date or null, structured body] with site_post_create or site_post_edit using its current revision/hash. Select the intended post revisions with site_posts_select, retaining existing posts I have not asked to remove. Review the changed scope, then build the selected blog pages through the site workflow. Show the checked release choices; do not publish yet.
```

## Publish a reviewed site release

```text
Publish [the reviewed site/version] through Waveform. Read site_release_options and show the exact checked page versions you will include. If they match the version I authorized, create that complete immutable release, read site_publication_get and publish using the current publication version. Report the release ID and public address. If any page is not eligible or the version conflicts, stop and explain the finding; do not substitute another draft.
```

## Resume without new spending

```text
Resume monitoring Waveform job [id]. Read its saved state and available artifacts first. Use generation_watch/site_task_watch with the returned cursor and a bounded wait. Do not create, continue, edit or publish anything. If it needs review, show the actual findings and retained source. Read billing_receipt if I have requested usage; unresolved usage remains pending.
```
