Understand credits and usage

See how tasks use credits, when credits expire, and how to buy more.

What credits pay for

One credit has US$0.01 of usage value. Creating and editing pages uses credits. The amount depends on your brief, design changes, and corrections, so a credit balance covers no fixed number of finished pages.

Usage is charged at twice the measured service cost. For example, a US$0.40 service cost uses 80 credits, worth US$0.80. We keep fractional credits in the calculation instead of rounding each step to a whole credit.

Submit your task and track usage

Submitting a task starts the work. Waveform allocates available workspace credits as each step runs, then charges its measured cost. You do not need to choose a credit maximum or approve every step.

Usage stays pending until its cost is confirmed. Cancelling stops further work, but you may still pay for work already performed. Your receipt shows charges and credits returned to your available balance.

Monthly and purchased credits

Included monthly credits are granted after payment and expire at the paid period end. Purchased credits do not expire. Monthly credits are used first. Credits already set aside for a running task stay with that task.

You confirm each credit purchase. Waveform does not buy top-ups automatically. Read the billing policy for renewal, cancellation, failed payments, plan changes, and reimbursement rules.
